Explore online, meet offline
Most car buyers gather information via the Internet. When they cross the dealer’s door, they know pretty much what they want. When we create a network in a new country, we should follow a similar strategy.
We can explore offline to find ways to reach new contacts in that new country. For instance, we can use LinkedIN to find out who within our links knows someone there.
However, when we move to that country (or when we visit the country in preparation to move there), we should meet face-to-face, if at all possible. It will be face-to-face that we will create trust.
When you create your network in a new country: explore online and meet offline.
